Why Choose CCST?

Our mission is to provide Cecil County Public School students with Career and Technology Education programs that will provide them with relevant learning experiences and competitive skills that will prepare them for the ever-changing global workforce.

The Office of Career and Technology Education provides the direction, leadership, and technical assistance to all Technology Education programs in Cecil County's high schools and School of Technology. Career and Technology Education is "value-added" education. Many CTE  programs help students obtain industry-recognized articulated credits. Students have the opportunity to participate in work-based learning experiences to learn on the job in addition to learning in the classroom.

For more information regarding CTE programs offered in Cecil County Public High Schools or the Cecil County School of Technology, please refer to the "need-to-know information" section in the Student Education Planning Guide.
