Fourteen CCST students volunteered to participate in television’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition at the Freedom Hills Therapeutic Riding Program.  The students who participated are: Jen Plank, Andrew White, Scott Whiteman, Paul Roberts, Brett Barnes, Josh King, Matt Wright, Jon Parrish, Sean McCane, Jimmy Hall, Zack Black, Brian Shufelt, Henry Bands and Joe Krusniewski.  Mr. Scott Eddy, Home Building Instructor, was the leader of the group.  Most of the students worked on the horse barns and Text Box: even some had the opportunity to work directly with Ed Saunders, one of the show’s stars, building cabinets and signage for the riding stables.  Thank you students!

The seventh annual National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) Induction Ceremony was held on October 17, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. in the Assembly Area of the school.    Four students were inducted into the Honor Society: Morgan Eisner, Brittany Long, Kirstie Perez, and Tabitha Wright.  Morgan Eisner is a student from Perryville High School and is enrolled in the Natural Resources Program.  Brittany Long is a student from Rising Sun High School and is enrolled in the Natural

Resources Program.  Kirstie Perez is a student from Perryville High School and is enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program.  Tabitha Wright is a student from Perryville High School and is enrolled in the Cosmetology Program.  Dr. Mary Way Bolt, Vice President of Academic Programs at Cecil College, was the Keynote speaker. Following the ceremony, the Culinary Arts students prepared a  reception for the new inductees.  Congratulations to the students in their accomplishment.
