Hershey Park Trip: Faculty and students will attend Hershey Park on May 28, 2008 for a day of learning and fun.  The students will arrive at the park before it opens to the public.  Once they arrive, the students get a guided tour of the behind-the-scenes operation of the park.  The students will get to see how the safety checks are performed each day, how the landscaping of the park is carried out, the electrical operations of the park, the plumbing and water for the park, the upkeep of the vehicles, the first aid stations, and the operation Text Box: Announcements/Information
Text Box:  of a spa in the Hershey area.  After the educational experience, the students will enjoy a day of fun riding the rides.  CCST is one of only two schools that the Hershey Park staff offers this special behind-the-scenes tour.  The trip is a reward for good behavior and student achievement throughout the year.
Natural Resources Plant and Vegetable Sale: The Greenhouse in the Natural Resources program is open for business.  Plants and vegetables are for sell from 9:45 AM until the end of the student day—2:30 PM.  Fish (Koi) are also for sell for your garden ponds.  Stop in and see what the students have for sale.
Text Box: Last Day of School Changed:
The Maryland State Board of Education granted Cecil County Public Schools a one day waiver for inclement weather.  The last day for students will be June 6, 2008.
Good Behavior Reward Luncheon:  The Computer Electronics class, under the direction of Mr. Bailey, was the winner of the “Good Behavior” luncheon for the past marking period.  The students enjoyed a picnic lunch prepared by Mr. Galla’s Culinary Arts students on Friday, April 11, 2008.  Congratulations!
Dodge Ball Competition: On April 1, 2008 CCST held its first Dodge Ball competition at North East High School.  The night was a success with six teams of students participating in the event.
